    SLAM! Episode V
    By Trent McKnight on 08/31/10

Tonight one truth holds; there will be no pinfalls or countouts. Every match is subject to victory by submission. One or two exception may exist, as the World Championship will be decided in the confines of the nBW Cage between Ali Amore and RaVage. The Zone will once more be opened when The Championship is defended by William Arthur Reagan against new comer Johannes Antonious de Castonovo. The roof should blow off the arena when Austin Advent and Remy Leroux tie horns.
Finally we will know who the number one contenders are for the Dynasty Tag Team Championships after the outcome of tonight's triple threat. And J. Leslie Voss, or the Fan we should say; if accepting of the challenge, will face Andrew Martin? D-T's Proteus is set to do action against Dream Warrior's Dark Ninja. All this and more on tonight's SLAM!

    SLAM! Episode IV
    By Trent McKnight on 07/24/10

SLAM comes to you with a new look and feel courtesy of Hulu.com. That doens't mean that the action has stopped. Oh no, if anything it has escalated.
Tonight the show kicks off with the Official Decision concerning Slam III's 'un-aired' championship win for RaVage. To this date it has been unknown if RaVage would walk into Slam as the champion, or Amore. Prepare to find out, but in doing so the two will be in action in Pick Your Poison matches, and their picks are two that are no pushovers.
Mr. Boyle will be quite busy as there is also a Special Press Conference set for this evening in regards to the Old Fighting Federation. What deal has Boyle made with those Italians? Why are certain vetrans chomping at the bit to be a part of this moment in the making?
And The Creede Brothers finally have their chance at the contendership, all they have to do is beat three opposing teams in a Gauntlet match. Should one of the teams beat them, they take their place. Can the Creedes overcome the odds?
And what of the situation with the Keystone Champion J. Leslie Voss and Saunders? How have the Dream Warriors avoided D-T this week? And goal do 15 Men have in common?
All this and much more tonight on SLAM!

New Column: From the Promoters Perspective
    By Thaddeus Boyle on 05/28/10

Good evening. If you can not tell by the title of this column being From The Promoters Perspective, my name is Thaddeus Prometheus Boyle; no Brand Wrestling’s head Promoter. The guy behind the scenes that keeps everything moving. And this fans, is my view.

How often do you get to hear from the man behind the curtain, rather than an employee or reporter? Well when I was put in charge they asked me what type of changes I would like to make. One of those changes I mentioned was the ability to come to you all with something special and exclusive, away from the branding of Hulu or the company itself. You could say this is my Blog, so to speak. Enough of that though. You Ready? Let’s begin.

Ali Amore d. Keegan with That’s Amore for the pinfall and to retain. 12:18.

High profiled match between mentor and student which ultimately saw the champion gain the upperhand; Thanks of course to John C. Willis’s involvement. Following the match RaVage jumped Amored admist celebration, before driving his shoulders into the ring post outside. Keegan made the save but Willis was already headed back out and quickly dominated the champion and mentor.

The show ended with Willis and RaVage standing tall in the ring. Unfortunately meaning the fans were going home with disappointment. Slam III is around the corner, and it’s only a matter of time until Keegan and Amore take those thorns out of their sides.

That’s it for this weekend’s house shows. Tune into hulu.com for SLAM Episode 3 for what is sure to be a wild ride.

'The Buzz' Cal Roberts Versus Ali Amore

In the aftermath of Confrontation, a card that certainly lived up to its billing and generated as many new questions as the issues it resolved, it was back to the bread-and-butter weekly schedule of television for the stars of No Brand Wrestling.

    Well, most of them.

For one man, some may argue he’s still a boy; the potentially hectic life of a Professional Wrestler was not something he was used to. Sure, he’d had brief stints in The Asylum and Mexican-based company, hWo, but that’s all they were – brief. And, painfully brief at best.

Nonetheless, Ali Amore, a Bogota-born junior heavyweight blessed with the punch of a super-heavyweight Boxer, appeared to be ready for active competition. Just as he had two years ago in his trial run with Asylum, the cocky Colombian cruiser had entered the arena brimming with confidence in his own abilities. He may have only won 1 contest as a professional in the industry but the manner in which he carried himself conveyed the mark of a man who looked like he’d won nearer a hundred than a solitary scalp, which was assisted.
