From the Gateway city this is your humble and ever so dashing reporter, Trent McKnight, here with the results from this weekend’s house show festivities.
We kicked things off with an introduction from Thaddeus Boyle. He wanted to insure the fans that they got their money’s worth this weekend, and in doing so a two-night tournament for contendership of the World Championship was in route and would start right now in fact.
Son of Malta d. Khan with a surprise roll-up for the Pinfall – 5:39 (Tournament)
For The Win d. The Creede Bros by The Ultimate Cheat Code for the Pinfall. – 6:24
Austin Advent d. Spike Saunders by Count Out. – 9:17. (Tournament)
Harley Grimm d. Matt Haddon by a vicious running stomp for the Pinfall. – 1:33 (Tournament)
Afterwards Grimm and Az tossed a few words at Torment who was quick to come out to be face to face. They bailed but not before Torment was able to warn them of things to come. Including besting the monster Grimm.

The show kicked off hot with tag team action, despite the fans distaste for the champions. The Dream Warriors made sure everyone was aware that they had no equals.

Myth and Legend d. For the Win by DQ interference from Creedes. 14:24
Keegan d. Son of Malta by pinfall. 8:44. (Tournament Final)
RaVage d. Spike Saunders with V for Victory for the pinfall. 13:27.
Ali Amore d. Keegan with That’s Amore for the pinfall and to retain. 12:18.
High profiled match between mentor and student which ultimately saw the champion gain the upperhand; Thanks of course to John C. Willis’s involvement. Following the match RaVage jumped Amored admist celebration, before driving his shoulders into the ring post outside. Keegan made the save but Willis was already headed back out and quickly dominated the champion and mentor.
The show ended with Willis and RaVage standing tall in the ring. Unfortunately meaning the fans were going home with disappointment. Slam III is around the corner, and it’s only a matter of time until Keegan and Amore take those thorns out of their sides.
That’s it for this weekend’s house shows. Tune into hulu.com for SLAM Episode 3 for what is sure to be a wild ride.
